Installation and Activation

Install Motion State

Quit Premiere.
Run the Motion State installer for your operating system.
Reopen Premiere.
Open the Effects panel.
Search for Motion State.

After installation, Motion State should appear here:

Video Effects > Jake In Motion > Motion State

macOS installation

Download the Motion State macOS installer.
Close Premiere if it’s open.
Open the installer and follow the prompts.
Find Motion State in the Jake In Motion folder of the Effects panel.

Windows installation

Download the Motion State Windows installer.
Close Premiere if it’s open.
Open the installer and follow the prompts.
Find Motion State in the Jake In Motion folder of the Effects panel.

For best Windows performance, use an NVIDIA GPU with CUDA support. Windows computers with AMD or Intel graphics can still use Motion State through CPU fallback, but playback and export will be slower.

After Motion State is installed and activated, continue with the Quick Start.

Activate Motion State

Motion State uses a license key to unlock the plugin after purchase. A watermak will be rendered over any clip with Motion State applied until it is activated.

Find your license key in your receipt email or by visiting Lemon Squeezy.
Apply Motion State to a clip in Premiere.
In Effect Controls, click the small Setup icon in the Motion State effect header.
Paste your license key.
Click Activate.

Once activated, Motion State remembers this computer.

Machine limit

A Motion State license can be active on a maximum of 2 computers at the same time.

If you need to move Motion State to another computer, open the Setup icon and deactivate the old computer first, or by visiting Lemon Squeezy.

Offline use

After Motion State has been activated, it can continue working for a limited time without an internet connection.

You will need an internet connection to activate, deactivate, or refresh license status.
